Pretty little pods. These remind me of certain pods you found in South Africa (and probably elsewhere); the trees were huge and hung over you, and their pods were long, thin, dry, and brown. (Probably Acacias.) We'd either wait for the pods to fall, or try to pick them from the trees, and then tear them apart and eat the little bits of flesh inside. It was sweet, but not in the way that you'd eat more than 3 pods; it was just something that kids would do when they came upon the tree.
If you look closely at the second one, you'll see a spider on one of the leaves, just slightly out of focus.
