I wonder what's so funny. What I love doing with drawn images in magazines is looking at the minuscule dots that make up the picture. When you see the blurred edges, the drawing looks clean and smooth, but at the point of focus, the colours don't look quite as distinct as before. It's the balance of close incongruity forming a congruous whole.
