If you're following the nuclear issue in Japan, Georneys is providing an excellent resource on the matter: the author's father.

TorrentFreak looks at "the most objective and elaborate piracy study to date", written by the Social Science Research Counsel, an independent "coalition of academic researchers".  Most piracy studies are funded by the entertainment industry, so, as expected, most piracy studies serve as nothing more than anti-piracy propaganda, twisting the truth to tell a specific story (i.e. piracy is evil and will be the death of us all).  This study, therefore, is a breath of fresh air and an absolute must read.

You can read the paper itself here.

The Haunted have a new album coming out, and thanks to MetalSucks, you can listen to it online.  (Sticktap Metal Bastard.)

Glenn Greenwald, one of the best journalists (if you want to call him that) you'll find online, gave an outstanding presentation in New Mexico a week ago.  Watch it here.

Writing a guest piece at the Goalie Guild, Shaun Smith explains the effect hockey coaches have on their players just by how they react on the bench, using the Columbus Blue Jackets' Scott Arniel as an example of giving away a game just by losing your cool in front of your players.

Mile High Hockey takes a closer look at newish Av Jay McClement.  The "Checking Out" features are always great reads and come highly-recommended if you want to learn more about the Avalanche players or just hockey players in general.
